Inara and Makoa make a great pair! Use Makoas hook to pull Torvald in, and wall them off with Inara.

Pick Resilience instead of Blast Shields when trying to counter him, as blast Shields won't protect your shield.

Damage resistances do not apply to Torvald's shield, so Haven and Blast Shields aren't as good as a pick for him.
